On Sunday October 25th we held the 2009 edition of Worship for Change at the MUSON Centre, Onikan. With the hall full to capacity, we had performances by Lenny Leblanc, Bob Fitts, Adorunbo, Cobhams Asuquo, Rooftop MCs, Tosin Martins and G-force. This event was sponsored by Women in Promised Land, C&I Leasing Plc, Legacy Realties, Cyrus Woodcrafters Ltd, Kraft, Marble Concepts, BusinessDay, Laterna Ventures, Protea Hotels (VI) and Modamo.com. The beneficiaries nominated for the 2009 Worship for Change concert were Leprosy Mission, JAKIN NGO, Society for the safety of the insane and the destitute (SO-SAID), Temitayo Awosika Help foundation, Ikorodu and Badagry sickle cell clubs.
On thursday, 25th February 2010, proceeds from the concert were turned over to these charities. Details are as follows:
SO-SAID got a cheque of N450,000.00 to cover payment of one year's school fees for 10 of the children they are catering for.

Leprosy Mission got a cheque of N550,000.00 to pay for a year's school fees for 48 children affected by Leprosy. These children are located in Oyi, Oochadamu (Kogi State) and Ogbomoso (Oyo State)

JAKIN NGO got a cheque of N500,000.00 to help disburse same amount to children who have inexpensive but pressing needs.

N824,000 was expended on getting a year's supply of vitamin C, B complex, Multivite and folic acid for 120 children from both the Ikorodu and Badagry sickle cell clubs as well as 5 months supply of the same drugs for 500 children catered for by the Temitayo Awosika Help foundation
